Come and learn a new quilt block with Mandy Munroe. During the Workshop you will make 2 or 3 blocks.
You can use these blocks to make cushion covers, a runner or complete and finish the whole quilt at home. We have given the fabric requirements for the whole quilt or just 1 block, you decide.
Requirements Staple Quilt
Staple Quilt 49 ½”square – Bold, graphic, original block design.
Nine blocks:
Six long quarter metres (10”) of colour for the outer borders of the blocks
(Make sure you can get five 2” strips = 10in)
1/2m each of white and black prints for centres
1/2m (bold) black solid and 1/4m charcoal solid for staples
One Block:
1/4 mtr of colour for border
1/4mtr for the centre
1/4mtr for the Staples
Skill level confident beginner/improvers , those who have mastered the
1/4" seam
