Description: Come and participate in national 'Sew a Jelly Roll day' with me! This fun 60.5" by 76.5" quilt is the perfect project for students who have completed a beginner workshop or made a couple of quilts, and are looking to develop their skills. The pattern works beautifully with all sorts of designs - pick a bright, modern Jelly Roll for a jazzy quilt, or a something more traditional for a timeless feel. I will guide you through the cutting list, show you how to create the clever block, and then detail everything you need to do to assemble your quilt top at home.
Materials needed:
- 1 Jelly Roll or 36 2.5" by 42" strips of fabric
- 3.7m of background fabric (plain/blender to complement your Jelly Roll)
- coordinating thread for piecing
To finish your quilt at home:
- 4.6m of backing fabric
- 1.7m of 90" wide wadding
- 60cm binding fabric
