Barbara Roots has been teaching dressmaking for many years, primarily with Kent Adult Education. She is extremely knowledgable, patient and kind. You will benefit enormously from her instruction as enjoying the lovely company of others.
Make a dress in a day!
In this workshop you will have the choice to either make your dress from your chosen fabric using the size guide on the pattern.
alternativley……. you can choose to make a toile (mock-up/ practice garment) and then make your dress from your chosen fabric at home. If you chose this option Barbara can help you with the fit of your pattern. The benefit of making a toile is you can make any adjustments to get the perfect fit. You can use old duvets, calico to make your toile.

Light to medium weight linen, cotton fabric
112cm wide - 2.75 mtrs
150cm wide - 2.20 mtrs
