Class: Buckthorn Backpack

Level: Intermediate
Come along and sew yourself a zippered top backpack, which will be your new favourite bag! It includes a front pocket for easy access to smaller items, and a divided interior pocket to keep everything inside organised. The backpack has an oval base, and adjustable straps. Please note that this class is NOT suitable for beginners. Attendees must be competent at measuring and cutting using rotary equipment, and confident when using a sewing machine.
Materials required:
70cm Exterior Fabric (canvas, denim or twill)
1m Lining Fabric (quilting cotton)
1.3m Interfacing
45cm Fusible Fleece
16” Nylon Zip for top closure
4m of 1 ½” wide cotton webbing
2x 1 ½” wide Triangle or D Rings
2x 1 ½” wide Swivel Snaps
2x 1 ½” Strap Sliders
